The Story

Many great inventions have great stories that accompany them; sometimes these stories become timeless, such as Ben Franklin's kite-flying or Newton's encounter with a falling apple.  There is no such story that accompanies the genesis of the machine, only a great idea at the right time combined with motivation.

Thomas Perez is a businessman and a success.  In this respect, he is an outside the box thinker with a history of taking a good idea, executing it properly, and making it successful.

Years ago, his mother was told by three separate hospitals that she would lose at least one leg, and probably both of her feet and that amputation might be necessary.  Mr. Perez did not accept this fate, and sought every possible alternative.  During this journey, he found Dr. William Mauer, an expert in alternative therapies such as photoluminescence, chelation, and hyperbarics.  After getting treated by Dr. Mauer, Tom’s mother kept her legs and feet.  Later, Tom’s mother-in-law had a 40 percent arterial blockage, and again, after 32 chelation treatments, she had no blockage.  The hospitals that tested her were shocked.  She’s now 75 and going strong--she’s healthy and happy.

The success of these treatments made an impression on Tom.  Later, traditional diagnosis failed Tom once again when he fell ill; Mauer again ordered a series of tests and found too much aluminum in Tom's blood.  Again, alternative therapy did the trick.

Tom saw alternative medicine at work, and photoluminescence intrigued him.  He saw the results, and his curiosity piqued even more.  He sat in on some treatments of patients that he referred, which consisted of blood being drawn and ran through a machine before re-entry.  Tom realized the improvements that could be made on this age-old technology--if he could find a way to make the procedure non-evasive, it would certainly be an innovation.

No apples fell; no kites were flown.  He wondered how to get the blood exposed to UV without drawing blood.  The answer was already being used in the medical community: sublingual delivery.  Nitroglycerin is prescribed for those suffering from angina, and it is used to treat acute angina attacks, so nitroglycerin must enter the system quickly.  The quickest way into the bloodstream is under the tongue, or sublingually, which is how nitroglycerin is taken during an attack.

Tom connected the dots.  He combined two pieces of knowledge, that UV light as used in photoluminescence could cure many diseases, and that sublingual delivery is a lightning fast, non-evasive way to administer medication.  Now all he needed to do was find a way to effectively get the proper UV light under the tongue.  So he sat down and drew up “the machine” that you can find on this website today.

Once he had the technology developed, he used his friends and contacts in the medical community for feedback on what he had done.  The feedback was tremendous, and the only thing more tremendous was the results.

Tom took his machine to the Caribbean islands with the intention of treating AIDS patients.  Photoluminescence had already been found to be effective agent against viruses and bacteria, and what virus better to attack than the most dangerous on the planet today?  Some of the adventures in the Caribbean are entailed in “Fighting AIDS in the New Century.”

But the successes were not limited to AIDS.  Tom’s machine has treated and cured minor ailments such as cold and flu to more complex disorders, such as chronic bronchitis.  As you read this, Tom is using the machine to manage his sedimentation rate (a sedrate test monitors inflammation activity by recording the rate at which red blood cells sediment in a tube over time).  His sedrate is staying low.  The machine is helping and working, but is it curing?  Will it keep the sedrate low?  Can it eventually cure instead of just treat the big diseases: AIDS, cancer, and Hepatitis C?  Those questions will soon be answered.

Photoluminescence is a fantastic weapon and the potential is endless.  Tom Perez is committed to bringing this treatment to full potential through his innovations with the intention of destroying the biggest killers in the world today.  For example, he’s bringing another idea to fruition--a chamber that will enhance and empower non-evasive UV light to really do battle with cancer.  He’s experienced many successes in this endeavor, but the greatest success of them all will be when the diseases can be cured instead of just treated.
